NORC is an independent research institute focused on social science research founded in Chicago in 1941. NORC plans to create 400 mostly part-time survey and polling positions at their new contact center facility in Albuquerque. They chose New Mexico as their new location as a result of new minimum wage laws in Chicago. They will use the contact center to conduct surveys for use in research studies for clients that include governments, corporations, and nonprofits.
SEA teamed up with a local commercial real estate broker to recruit NORC to our area. SEA crafted a proposal with demographics, real estate, and wage information that enabled NORC to make an informed decision that led to their move to New Mexico.
