Convergys is a third-party customer care center that aims to help its’ clients maintain exceptional relationships with their customers. This company has operated in Rio Rancho, NM since 1998 with great success. They recently completed an agreement and signed a contract with a Fortune 500 company for their services. As a result of the new contract, Convergys needed to hire 250 new employees in less than 2 months.
SEA brought together the local universities, community colleges, public school systems, the Department of Workforce Solutions, and other key stakeholders to form a plan to hire the 250 new employees and connect the resources with Convergys’ HR team. A key part of the plan included pre-qualifying candidates with the stakeholders to reduce cost and time during hiring. As a result, Convergys was able to hire and on-board 247 employees within the short time frame, and meet their contractual obligation to successfully launch operations for their new client.
