Jami Grindatto has been named president and CEO of the Sandoval Economic Alliance, according to SEA Chairman Joe Sierra, who spoke at the NAIOP Rio Rancho Roundtable meeting this morning at Club Rio Rancho.

SEA conducted a national search for candidates and interviewed 26 people from around the country, Sierra said. The SEA board will still need to ratify the decision, he noted.

The city of Rio Rancho and Sandoval County banded together to form the SEA, which superseded the Rio Rancho Economic Development Corp. Grindatto has been the interim president of the SEA. He is the former Intel director of regional government affairs and helped the Fortune 100 firm find sites for its plants.

The SEA had its first board meeting in July. The group’s board includes members from the state, city, county and private industry, such as Intel, PNM, Don Chalmers Ford and others.
