Gonstead Physical Medicine will host the grand opening celebration of its new Rio Rancho facility on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at 1920 Westside Blvd., in the Unser Gateway behind Nusenda Credit Union.
Ground was broken for the $1.8 million, nearly 7,000-square -foot building in January.
The grand-opening will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Gregg Hull, food from Dion’s and Chick-fil-A of Rio Rancho, special appearances by the University of New Mexico’s Louie Lobo and Orbit of the Albuquerque Isotopes, prizes and more.
KNKT 107.1 and NASH-FM 92.3 will also be broadcasting live.
“We are thrilled to be in Rio Rancho and in such a great community,” said Gonstead Physical Medicine owner Dr. Anthony Del Angel. “We have had tremendous help and support from people across the area in order to make this dream a reality.”
“Many thanks to our partners, including Facility Build, the City of Rio Rancho, Sandoval Economic Alliance, Sandoval County Small Business Development Center, New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, and the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce,” Del Angel said.
